Casting is not merely about distribution selections, but a professional situation with real stakes, in which preparation, personality, and the approach to the material are evaluated simultaneously. Fátyol Hermina – actress and casting director – offers an inside perspective on the casting process.

During the masterclass, participants will gain an overview of different types of casting, preparation stages, and the key factors that matter in a first audition. The session will also cover international casting platforms and European opportunities, as well as ways to begin a career in the field without an existing network of contacts. Special emphasis will be placed on building a professional portfolio and understanding how the European agency system works. The course provides practical tools and concrete references for professional development.
