What if, one day, we could decipher the memory of objects? What if we could see everything a mirror has ever reflected? What if we could hear all the laughter that ever echoed between the walls of a house? What if we opened a wardrobe and out of it came all the perfumes, the rustling of dresses, the songs of birds from hats once placed quietly on shelves and then, further back, we witnessed the very birth of the wardrobe itself, when it was nothing but wood trembling in the wind? „Familia Cehov”the third-year Acting study project – is built around the works of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, bringing together scenes from UNCHIUL VANIA (en: Uncle Vanya), PESCARUȘUL (en: The Seagull), IVANOV, TREI SURORI (en: Three Sisters), LIVADA DE VIȘINI (en: The Cherry Orchard), as well as inserts from Chekhov’s prose. It forms a kaleidoscope of unfulfilled or lost loves.
