The production offers a critical reflection on the totalitarian tendencies of power, based on a text by Dario Fo. Through the figure of Queen Elizabeth, a historical character, it brings into focus contemporary themes such as authoritarianism, abuse of power, and the status of women in politics. By exposing the absurd behind closed doors, the piece highlights the discrepancy between the official grandeur of a ruler and the fragility of their private life. This contrast becomes a tool of demystification, revealing the mechanisms through which power constructs and sustains its authority.
